On June 3rd, 2024, CURE India marked World Clubfoot Day at the India Habitat Centre, celebrating our collective efforts and achievements in the fight against clubfoot. The event was graced by the presence of Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, IAS, Secretary of DePwD, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, as our Chief Guest. His inspiring words encouraged us all to work towards eliminating disabilities and ensuring equal participation opportunities for everyone.
Dr. Mathew Varghese, Chairman & Founder Trustee of CURE India, delivered a passionate speech about our partnership with government hospitals. He emphasized the importance of accessible, non-surgical, and free clubfoot treatment and the need for proper training for medical staff. Dr. Varghese highlighted how our program not only removes physical and emotional stigmas but also significantly enhances the quality of life for the children we serve.
