CURE India, in collaboration with NSS Maitreyi, is proud to contribute to the "Swachhta Hi Sewa" campaign, a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting cleanliness and sustainability across the country. Launched on September 17th and running through October 2nd, this campaign reflects a shared commitment to a cleaner, greener India.
On Day 10, the energy and dedication of the volunteers were palpable at San Martin Park, Chanakyapuri. Armed with cleaning supplies and a strong sense of civic duty, participants came together to restore the beauty of the park while adhering to strict safety protocols. The team didn't just stop at cleaning; they went a step further by launching a tree plantation drive. Custard apple seeds were carefully planted, symbolizing hope for a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future.
This initiative is more than just a cleanliness drive—it's a community movement. It highlights the critical importance of clean, green spaces and encourages active participation from all members of society in maintaining them. By fostering such engagement, the campaign promotes collective responsibility towards preserving our environment for future generations.
As CURE India continues its mission to eliminate disability from clubfoot by 2030, this collaboration underscores the organization's broader commitment to building a healthier, more inclusive society. Whether it's through medical care or environmental advocacy, CURE India is dedicated to creating a brighter future for all.
