On October 17, 2024, CURE India was honored to collaborate with schools, hospitals, and Anganwadi centers in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. This partnership underscored our shared mission to bring awareness to clubfoot and provide crucial support to children affected by this condition. Leading the initiative was Ms. Pushpa Mahamandare, our dedicated District Program Coordinator, whose passion and expertise fueled a day of impactful engagement and learning.
Building Awareness, One Community at a Time
Through this outreach, Ms. Mahamandare shared vital information on clubfoot and the significance of early intervention. By educating local teachers, healthcare workers, and community members, she empowered them with the knowledge to identify and refer children for timely treatment. Early diagnosis and intervention can make a life-changing difference, allowing children to lead active, disability-free lives.
Strength in Collective Action
This initiative demonstrated the incredible impact that comes from community partnerships. CURE India believes that when communities unite for a cause, the potential for transformation is boundless. Together, with the support of local institutions, we are taking steps toward a future where no child suffers from untreated clubfoot, ensuring that every child can step confidently into a brighter tomorrow.
