CURE India Launches Birth Defect Awareness Program
In March, CURE India is excited to announce the launch of the Birth Defect Awareness program in collaboration with the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) and the National Health Mission. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the prevalence of birth defects and developmental delays, with a particular focus on clubfoot.
Leading the Charge in Clubfoot Awareness:
CURE India proudly takes a leading role in Clubfoot Awareness initiatives at Eluru District's District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), Andhra Pradesh, located within the Government General Hospital. This awareness campaign is designed to:
Raise Awareness: Educate Secondary and Tertiary Health Centers, ASHA workers, and Anganwadi centers about Clubfoot disability.
Promote Early Intervention: Ensure that knowledge about Clubfoot is widespread, enabling early diagnosis and intervention to improve outcomes for affected children.
Eradicate Disability: Work towards the complete eradication of Clubfoot disability from our nation, aligning with our vision of inclusive healthcare.
Goals of the Campaign:
Inclusive Healthcare: Strengthen the healthcare system by integrating Clubfoot awareness into various health services and community outreach programs.
Brighter Future: Enhance the quality of life for children with Clubfoot by ensuring they receive timely and effective care.
