We are proud to announce the successful completion of CURE India's 131st Doctor's Training on the Ponseti Method of Clubfoot, which took place on July 19th, 2024, at Government Medical College Hospital, Kozhikode, Kerala. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Rajan N. Khobragade, IAS (Addl. Chief Secretary, DeHFW & Ayush, Govt. of Kerala) and was led by esteemed experts Dr. Rudraprasad from Bangalore, Karnataka, and Dr. Venkatesan Sampath from AIIMS, New Delhi.
The training session was a resounding success, with 82 enthusiastic doctors participating in the Ponseti workshop for hands-on casting experience. The session provided invaluable practical training, equipping doctors with the skills necessary to effectively treat children with clubfoot using the Ponseti method.
This event marked a significant milestone in advancing medical knowledge and improving the lives of children born with clubfoot. The dedication of the doctors, trainers, and organizers is commendable, and their contribution is making a profound difference in the lives of children across India.
