On January 21st, 2025, CURE India took another step forward in its mission to eliminate disability from clubfoot by collaborating with key healthcare stakeholders in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. This impactful initiative brought together teams from the Vaccination Department, THO Office, ICDS Office, Primary Health Centers (PHCs), Sub-Centers, hospitals, and nursing homes, uniting them under a shared goal—ensuring that no child with clubfoot is left untreated.
At the heart of this engagement was Mr. Satish Wadkar, CURE India’s Field Mobilizer, who led discussions on the importance of early detection and intervention for children born with clubfoot. By equipping healthcare workers, frontline staff, and medical professionals with essential knowledge, we are empowering them to identify and refer children for timely treatment at CURE India clinics.
Through such collaborations, we are not only treating children but also transforming lives—one step at a time.
CURE India operates over 440 clinics across 300 districts, working hand in hand with state governments and CSR partners to provide free treatment, training, and essential medical resources. Every effort, every partnership, and every individual involved in this mission plays a crucial role in ensuring a brighter future for children affected by clubfoot.
