In collaboration with CURE India, NSS Maitreyi College continues to make remarkable strides in advancing the nationwide "Swachhta Hi Sewa Campaign," which commenced on 17th September and runs until 2nd October 2024. On Day 15, held at Sanjay Camp, Delhi, students and volunteers gathered with unwavering enthusiasm and a shared mission to create a cleaner, greener environment.
Armed with brooms and a sense of civic responsibility, the volunteers conducted a thorough cleanliness drive, meticulously tidying up the area and ensuring it remained well-maintained. But their dedication to environmental sustainability didn't stop there. The team also planted custard apple seeds near the camp, symbolizing growth, hope, and a commitment to fostering a greener future for all.
The volunteers went beyond cleaning by engaging with the local community, spreading valuable awareness about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and embracing sustainable practices. Their interactions inspired residents to take ownership of their surroundings and prioritize environmental care, proving that collective action can make a significant impact.
This initiative not only transformed the physical environment of Sanjay Camp but also created a ripple effect of awareness and action within the community. The dedication and enthusiasm of the volunteers made this campaign a resounding success, leaving a lasting legacy for both the environment and the people who call it home.
Join us in supporting such transformative initiatives. Donate towards making a difference and help us continue our efforts to build a cleaner, healthier India for future generations!
