CURE India is proud to spotlight the transformative work happening at our clubfoot clinic in Civil District Hospital, Satara, Maharashtra, where we offer free treatment for children born with clubfoot. This vital clinic, held every Friday, is led by Mrs. Monali Hiwale, District Program Coordinator (DPC) and Clinic Incharge, who works tirelessly to ensure that every child receives the care and support they need.
During a recent visit to the clinic, FM Mr. Satish Wadkar had the opportunity to meet with several esteemed professionals, including Dr. Yuraj Karpe (CS), Dr. Rahuldev Khade (ACS), Dr. Arya Pendhalkar (DEIC Manager), Mrs. Hema Ghadge (Social Worker), Dr. Rahul Kogurwal (Ortho), and Dr. Pratap Gaikwad. Their positive feedback and guidance were instrumental in strengthening the clinic’s operations and expanding enrollment. This collaboration is helping to ensure that more children in the Satara region can access life-changing treatment for clubfoot.
The clubfoot clinic at Satara is an integral part of CURE India’s mission to eliminate disability from clubfoot by 2030. Through the collective efforts of healthcare professionals, social workers, and community leaders, we are making strides in increasing awareness, early identification, and treatment of this condition, ensuring that no child is left behind.
As we continue to transform the lives of children in Maharashtra and across India, we invite you to join us in making a difference. Donate today to support free, accessible treatment for children with clubfoot and help us create a brighter, healthier future for all.
