Transforming Lives in Chhattisgarh: CURE India’s Clubfoot Awareness Program in Bijapur

On January 6, 2025, CURE India proudly partnered with local schools, hospitals, and Anganwadi centers in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, as part of its Clubfoot Awareness Program. This initiative was led by Ms. Monika Hapka, District Program Coordinator, whose dedication and passion played a crucial role in spreading awareness and ensuring that every child affected by clubfoot receives the care they deserve.

Spreading Awareness for Early Intervention

During the visit, Ms. Monika engaged with teachers, healthcare providers, and community workers, highlighting the importance of early detection and treatment of clubfoot. By identifying the condition at birth and referring children to CURE India’s specialized clinics, we can prevent lifelong disability and empower children with the ability to walk, run, and lead active lives.

The sessions focused on:
